This was great, K.C. You had distracted me so much with the father sightings and where things were going with Maggie that the tram accident completely took me by surprise.

To me, the most powerful part of this story is that the father made the extraordinary journey from death to the living world (he is the Traveler, after all) to save a son he had never met. Just goes to show, there is no stronger bond than that of parent and child.

Thank you for your kind words, Shane. They mean a lot coming from you. It was not the way Josh had imagined he would meet his father. That's for sure. Thanks as well for the restack. Your support is appreciated.

Thank goodness for the Traveler...and for Maggie, I suppose. If she didn't grab his hand...who knows?! Great story. Thanks for contributing to TMV!

The Crone, Truckstop Dinner, the Pecan Pie --there was no question in this reader's mind it was there the truth serum would be hiding, in plane site, but Maggie got cold feet––hired Carlos Ramirez former Maga supporter [thank the goddess, later came to his sense] who walked away with a single highly sought-after skill set... fake news. Yes, ladies & gentlemen, the tram fall was a diversion, the fake news... all because Maggie needs more time with Josh to tell him the truth. And who can blame her? It's her choice, the right choice? Does not matter, it's NOT mine to make. The Zone at Midnight moves in mysterious ways... xx:*
