Cactus Flowers features the writing of K.C. Knouse. K.C. began writing for publication forty years ago and has had his work published in print and on-line literary magazines. He has written feature articles and essays for local newspapers, published a book on personal finance: True Prosperity: Your Guide to a Cash-Based Lifestyle (1996), and operated a personal finance blog, LiveOnCash.com, from 2010-2020. He has two collections of short fiction in print: Twenty Miles West of Branch, Texas and other stories (2018) and A Short Stack of Short Fiction: Three Character-Driven Short Stories (2019).

K.C. Knouse lives on the U.S./Mexico border in Far West Texas.
