Thank you for our support, Jim. It’s happened to me many a time. My wife starts talking before I’ve given her my complete attention and then comes the question. I have no idea what she’s talking about but I try to answer, anyway. Usually does not end well.
Really good story, whenever we get into the zone, be it with sports, combat, or just engrossed in a good story we are transported outside our bodies and into another place, another time. Also, loved the line at the end where Monica meant, "what did you think about going out for dinner tonight." That gave me a good chuckle.
